About BinaryHeart at Purdue University

BinaryHeart at Purdue University is a student-run chapter dedicated to bridging the digital divide through technology recycling and refurbishment in the West Lafayette community.

As part of the larger BinaryHeart organization, our mission at Purdue is to collect, repair, and donate computers and other electronic devices to students, schools, and organizations in need throughout the West Lafayette area.

Our Mission

We believe that access to technology is a fundamental right in today's digital age. Our mission is to empower Purdue students and the West Lafayette community by providing them with the tools they need to succeed in an increasingly digital world.

Our Impact

Through our work at Purdue, we help students access educational resources, participate in remote learning, and develop crucial digital literacy skills. We're also proud to contribute to environmental sustainability by keeping electronics out of landfills and giving them a second life in our community.
